30:3.105. The Var­i­ous Re­serve Corps. Vast re­serves of be­ings not un­der our im­me­di­ate super­vi­sion are mo­bi­lized on Uversa as the re­serve-corps colony. There are sev­enty pri­mary di­vi­sions of this colony on Uversa, and it is a lib­eral ed­u­ca­tion to be per­mit­ted to spend a sea­son with these ex­traor­di­nary per­son­al­i­ties. Sim­i­lar gen­eral re­serves are main­tained on Sal­ving­ton and other uni­verse cap­i­tals; they are dis­patched on ac­tive ser­vice on the req­ui­si­tion of their re­spec­tive group di­rec­tors.

39:3.117. The Re­serves. Gen­eral re­serves of the super­vi­sor ser­a­phim are held on the head­quar­ters of the con­stel­la­tions. Such an­gelic re­servists are in no sense in­ac­tive; many serve as mes­sen­ger aids to the con­stel­la­tion rulers; oth­ers are at­tached to the Sal­ving­ton re­serves of un­as­signed Voron­dadeks; still oth­ers may be at­tached to Vo­ron­da­dek Sons on spe­cial as­sign­ment, such as the Vo­ron­da­dek ob­server, and some­times Most High re­gent, of Uran­tia.

19:1.3These be­ings are the only group of the Sons of God re­vealed to you whose ori­gin is in the Par­a­dise Trin­ity. They range the cen­tral and super­uni­verses, and an enor­mous corps is as­signed to each lo­cal uni­verse. They also serve the in­di­vid­ual plan­ets as do the other Par­a­dise Sons of God. Since the scheme of the grand uni­verse is not fully de­vel­oped, large num­bers of Teacher Sons are held in the re­serves on Par­a­dise, and they vol­un­teer for emer­gency duty and un­usual ser­vice in all di­vi­sions of the grand uni­verse, on the lone worlds of space, in the lo­cal and super­uni­verses, and on the worlds of Ha­vona. They also func­tion on Par­a­dise, but it will be more help­ful to post­pone their de­tailed con­sid­er­a­tion un­til we come to the dis­cus­sion of the Par­a­dise Sons of God.

22:3.2Sev­enty thou­sand of Those High in Au­thor­ity are trin­i­tized at each Trin­ity li­ai­son. Though the lo­cal uni­verse of Neb­a­don is a com­par­a­tively young cre­ation, it has rep­re­sen­ta­tives among a re­cently trin­i­tized class of this or­der. There are now com­mis­sioned in Or­von­ton more than ten bil­lion of these skill­ful ad­min­is­tra­tors. Like all sep­a­rate or­ders of ce­les­tial be­ings, they main­tain their own head­quar­ters on Uversa, and like the other Trin­ity-em­braced sons, their re­serves on Uversa act as the cen­tral di­rect­ing body of their or­der in Or­von­ton.

22:6.3Trin­i­tized Am­bas­sadors are the emis­saries of the An­cients of Days for any and all pur­poses, to any and all worlds or uni­verses within the super­uni­verse of their as­sign­ment. They ren­der par­tic­u­lar and im­por­tant ser­vices on the head­quar­ters of the mi­nor sec­tors, and they per­form the num­ber­less mis­cel­la­neous as­sign­ments of a super­uni­verse. They are the emer­gency or re­serve corps of the Trin­i­tized Sons of the super­gov­ern­ments, and they are there­fore avail­able for a great range of du­ties. They en­gage in thou­sands upon thou­sands of un­der­tak­ings in super­uni­verse af­fairs which it is im­pos­si­ble to por­tray to hu­man minds since there is noth­ing tran­spir­ing on Uran­tia that is in any way anal­o­gous to these ac­tiv­i­ties.

The fluc­tu­a­tions in the work with the as­cen­dant be­ings, the Par­a­dise pil­grims, and other or­ders of be­ings so­journ­ing in Ha­vona, make it nec­es­sary to main­tain these re­serves of super­na­phim on the pi­lot world of the sev­enth cir­cle, where they take ori­gin. They are cre­ated with­out spe­cial de­sign and are com­pe­tent to take up ser­vice in the less ex­act­ing phases of any of the du­ties of their super­aphic as­so­ciates of the ter­tiary or­der.

A very large group of se­con­a­phim, the sev­enth pri­mary se­ri­als, are held in re­serve for the un­clas­si­fied du­ties and the emer­gency as­sign­ments of the realms. Large re­serves of all types of the su­pe­rior ser­a­phim are held on Sal­ving­ton, in­stantly avail­able for dis­patch to the far­ther­most worlds of Neb­a­don as they are req­ui­si­tioned by the di­rec­tors of as­sign­ment or upon the re­quest of the uni­verse ad­min­is­tra­tors. The re­serves of su­pe­rior ser­a­phim also fur­nish mes­sen­ger aids upon req­ui­si­tion by the chief of the Bril­liant Evening Stars, who is in­trusted with the cus­tody and dis­patch of all per­sonal com­mu­ni­ca­tions. A lo­cal uni­verse is fully pro­vided with ad­e­quate means of in­ter­com­mu­ni­ca­tion, but there is al­ways a residue of mes­sages which re­quires dis­patch by per­sonal mes­sen­gers.

39:4.177. The Re­serves. The re­serve corps of ad­min­is­tra­tor ser­a­phim on Je­ru­sem spend much of their wait­ing time in vis­it­ing, as spirit com­pan­ions, with the newly ar­rived as­cend­ing mor­tals from the var­i­ous worlds of the sys­tem—the ac­cred­ited grad­u­ates of the man­sion worlds. One of the de­lights of your so­journ on Je­ru­sem will be to talk and visit, dur­ing re­cess pe­ri­ods, with these much-trav­eled and many-ex­pe­ri­enced ser­a­phim of the wait­ing re­serve corps.

39:4.18It is just such friendly re­la­tion­ships as these that so en­dear a sys­tem cap­i­tal to the as­cend­ing mor­tals. On Je­ru­sem you will find the first in­ter­min­gling of Ma­te­rial Sons, an­gels, and as­cend­ing pil­grims. Here frat­er­nize be­ings who are wholly spir­i­tual and semispir­i­tual and in­di­vid­u­als just emerg­ing from ma­te­rial ex­is­tence. Mor­tal forms are there so mod­i­fied and hu­man ranges of light re­ac­tion so ex­tended that all are able to en­joy mu­tual rec­og­ni­tion and sym­pa­thetic per­son­al­ity un­der­stand­ing.

39:5.177. The Re­serves. The Sa­ta­nia re­serve corps of the plan­e­tary ser­a­phim is main­tained on Je­ru­sem in close as­so­ci­a­tion with the re­serves of the Ma­te­rial Sons. These abun­dant re­serves re­pletely pro­vide for ev­ery phase of the man­i­fold ac­tiv­i­ties of this se­raphic or­der. These an­gels are also the per­sonal mes­sage bear­ers of the lo­cal sys­tems. They serve tran­si­tion mor­tals, an­gels, and the Ma­te­rial Sons as well as oth­ers domi­ciled on the sys­tem head­quar­ters. While Uran­tia is, at pres­ent, out­side the spir­i­tual cir­cuits of Sa­ta­nia and Nor­la­ti­adek, you are oth­er­wise in in­ti­mate touch with in­ter­plan­e­tary af­fairs, for these mes­sen­gers from Je­ru­sem fre­quently come to this world as to all the other spheres of the sys­tem.

39:6.1As their name might sug­gest, ser­a­phim of tran­si­tional min­istry serve wher­ever they can con­tribute to crea­ture tran­si­tion from the ma­te­rial to the spir­i­tual es­tate. These an­gels serve from the in­hab­ited worlds to the sys­tem cap­i­tals, but those in Sa­ta­nia at pres­ent di­rect their great­est ef­forts to­ward the ed­u­ca­tion of the sur­viv­ing mor­tals on the seven man­sion worlds.
