43:8.51. Live hap­pily and work ef­fec­tively with ten di­verse fel­low mor­ontians, while ten such groups are as­so­ci­ated in com­pa­nies of one hun­dred and then fed­er­ated in corps of one thou­sand.

43:8.84. While thus so­cially func­tion­ing with be­ings like and un­like your­self, achieve in­tel­lec­tual har­mony with, and make vo­ca­tional ad­just­ment to, both groups of as­so­ciates.

43:8.95. While at­tain­ing sat­is­fac­tory so­cial­iza­tion of the per­son­al­ity on in­tel­lec­tual and vo­ca­tional lev­els, fur­ther per­fect the abil­ity to live in in­ti­mate con­tact with sim­i­lar and slightly dis­sim­i­lar be­ings with ever-less­en­ing ir­ri­tabil­ity and ever-di­min­ish­ing re­sent­ment. The re­ver­sion di­rec­tors con­tribute much to this lat­ter at­tain­ment through their group-play ac­tiv­i­ties.

On the Sal­ving­ton spheres you will be evolv­ing from a mor­ontia be­ing to the sta­tus of a true spirit; you will be more spir­i­tual than ma­te­rial. But on Eden­tia, as­cend­ers are mid­way be­tween their for­mer and their fu­ture es­tates, mid­way in their pas­sage from evo­lu­tion­ary an­i­mal to as­cend­ing spirit. Dur­ing your whole stay on Eden­tia and its worlds you are “as the an­gels”; you are con­stantly pro­gress­ing but all the while main­tain­ing a gen­eral and a typ­i­cal mor­ontia sta­tus.

Never in your long as­cen­dancy will you lose the power to rec­og­nize your as­so­ciates of for­mer ex­is­tences. Al­ways, as you as­cend in­ward in the scale of life, will you re­tain the abil­ity to rec­og­nize and frat­er­nize with the fel­low be­ings of your pre­vi­ous and lower lev­els of ex­pe­ri­ence. Each new trans­la­tion or res­ur­rec­tion will add one more group of spirit be­ings to your vi­sion range with­out in the least de­priv­ing you of the abil­ity to rec­og­nize your friends and fel­lows of for­mer es­tates.

45:6.1The Ma­te­rial Sons and Daugh­ters, to­gether with their chil­dren, pre­sent an en­gag­ing spec­ta­cle which never fails to arouse the cu­rios­ity and in­trigue the at­ten­tion of all as­cend­ing mor­tals. They are so sim­i­lar to your own ma­te­rial sex races that you both find much of com­mon in­ter­est to en­gage your thoughts and oc­cupy your sea­sons of fra­ter­nal con­tact.

45:6.2Mor­tal sur­vivors spend much of their leisure on the sys­tem cap­i­tal ob­serv­ing and study­ing the life habits and con­duct of these su­pe­rior semi­phys­i­cal sex crea­tures, for these cit­i­zens of Je­ru­sem are the im­me­di­ate spon­sors and men­tors of the mor­tal sur­vivors from the time they at­tain cit­i­zen­ship on the head­quar­ters world un­til they take leave for Eden­tia.

45:6.3On the seven man­sion worlds as­cend­ing mor­tals are af­forded am­ple op­por­tu­ni­ties for com­pen­sat­ing any and all ex­pe­ri­en­tial de­pri­va­tions suf­fered on their worlds of ori­gin, whether due to in­her­i­tance, en­vi­ron­ment, or un­for­tu­nate pre­ma­ture ter­mi­na­tion of the ca­reer in the flesh. This is in ev­ery sense true ex­cept in the mor­tal sex life and its at­ten­dant ad­just­ments. Thou­sands of mor­tals reach the man­sion worlds with­out hav­ing ben­e­fited par­tic­u­larly from the dis­ci­plines de­rived from fairly av­er­age sex re­la­tions on their na­tive spheres. The man­sion world ex­pe­ri­ence can pro­vide lit­tle op­por­tu­nity for com­pen­sat­ing these very per­sonal de­pri­va­tions. Sex ex­pe­ri­ence in a phys­i­cal sense is past for these as­cend­ers, but in close as­so­ci­a­tion with the Ma­te­rial Sons and Daugh­ters, both in­di­vid­u­ally and as mem­bers of their fam­i­lies, these sex-de­fi­cient mor­tals are en­abled to com­pen­sate the so­cial, in­tel­lec­tual, emo­tional, and spir­i­tual as­pects of their de­fi­ciency. Thus are all those hu­mans whom cir­cum­stances or bad judg­ment de­prived of the ben­e­fits of ad­van­ta­geous sex as­so­ci­a­tion on the evo­lu­tion­ary worlds, here on the sys­tem cap­i­tals af­forded full op­por­tu­nity to ac­quire these es­sen­tial mor­tal ex­pe­ri­ences in close and lov­ing as­so­ci­a­tion with the su­per­nal Adamic sex crea­tures of per­ma­nent res­i­dence on the sys­tem cap­i­tals.

45:6.4No sur­viv­ing mor­tal, mid­wayer, or ser­a­phim may as­cend to Par­a­dise, at­tain the Fa­ther, and be mus­tered into the Corps of the Fi­nal­ity with­out hav­ing passed through that sub­lime ex­pe­ri­ence of achiev­ing pa­ren­tal re­la­tion­ship to an evolv­ing child of the worlds or some other ex­pe­ri­ence anal­o­gous and equiv­a­lent thereto. The re­la­tion­ship of child and par­ent is fun­da­men­tal to the es­sen­tial con­cept of the Uni­ver­sal Fa­ther and his uni­verse chil­dren. There­fore does such an ex­pe­ri­ence be­come in­dis­pens­able to the ex­pe­ri­en­tial train­ing of all as­cend­ers.

45:6.5The as­cend­ing mid­way crea­tures and the evo­lu­tion­ary ser­a­phim must pass through this par­ent­hood ex­pe­ri­ence in as­so­ci­a­tion with the Ma­te­rial Sons and Daugh­ters of the sys­tem head­quar­ters. Thus do such non­re­pro­duc­ing as­cend­ers ob­tain the ex­pe­ri­ence of par­ent­hood by as­sist­ing the Je­ru­sem Adams and Eves in rear­ing and train­ing their progeny.

45:6.6All mor­tal sur­vivors who have not ex­pe­ri­enced par­ent­hood on the evo­lu­tion­ary worlds must also ob­tain this nec­es­sary train­ing while so­journ­ing in the homes of the Je­ru­sem Ma­te­rial Sons and as pa­ren­tal as­so­ciates of these su­perb fa­thers and moth­ers. This is true ex­cept in so far as such mor­tals have been able to com­pen­sate their de­fi­cien­cies on the sys­tem nurs­ery lo­cated on the first tran­si­tional-cul­ture world of Je­ru­sem.

45:6.7This pro­ba­tion nurs­ery of Sa­ta­nia is main­tained by cer­tain mor­ontia per­son­al­i­ties on the fi­nal­i­ters’ world, one half of the planet be­ing de­voted to this work of child rear­ing. Here are re­ceived and re­assem­bled cer­tain chil­dren of sur­viv­ing mor­tals, such as those off­spring who per­ished on the evo­lu­tion­ary worlds be­fore ac­quir­ing spir­i­tual sta­tus as in­di­vid­u­als. The as­cen­sion of ei­ther of its nat­u­ral par­ents in­sures that such a mor­tal child of the realms will be ac­corded reper­son­al­iza­tion on the sys­tem fi­nal­i­ter planet and there be per­mit­ted to demon­strate by sub­se­quent free­will choice whether or not it elects to fol­low the pa­ren­tal path of mor­tal as­cen­sion. This ser­vice of pa­ren­tal min­istry may be later ac­cred­ited on Je­ru­sem as the ful­fill­ment of one half of the train­ing which such as­cend­ers are re­quired to un­dergo in the fam­i­lies of the Ma­te­rial Sons and Daugh­ters.

Here in those unique tem­ples at the cen­ter of the sev­enty ra­di­at­ing wings wherein are the cham­bers of tran­si­tion sim­i­lar to the res­ur­rec­tion halls on the ini­tial world of re­cep­tion for earth-ori­gin mor­tals, the nec­es­sary changes in crea­ture form are skill­fully ef­fected by the sys­tem co-or­di­na­tors. A com­bined con­trol­ler is sen­si­tive to, and func­tional with, phys­i­cal, spir­i­tual, and mor­ontial en­er­gies; and with this be­ing there are al­ways as­so­ci­ated two sys­tem co-or­di­na­tors, four cir­cuit reg­u­la­tors, one plan­e­tary cus­to­dian, one li­ai­son sta­bi­lizer, and ei­ther an as­so­ciate reg­is­trar or a se­lec­tive as­sorter.

Your pas­sage through this won­der­ful bor­der­land life will be an un­for­get­table ex­pe­ri­ence, a charm­ing mem­ory. It is the evo­lu­tion­ary por­tal to spirit life and the even­tual at­tain­ment of crea­ture per­fec­tion by which as­cend­ers achieve the goal of time—the find­ing of God on Par­a­dise.

If the Gods de­signed merely to take you on one long and eter­nal joy ex­cur­sion, they cer­tainly would not so largely turn the whole uni­verse into one vast and in­tri­cate prac­ti­cal train­ing school, req­ui­si­tion a sub­stan­tial part of the ce­les­tial cre­ation as teach­ers and in­struc­tors, and then spend ages upon ages pi­lot­ing you, one by one, through this gi­gan­tic uni­verse school of ex­pe­ri­en­tial train­ing. The fur­ther­ance of the scheme of mor­tal pro­gres­sion seems to be one of the chief busi­nesses of the pres­ent or­ga­nized uni­verse, and the ma­jor­ity of in­nu­mer­able or­ders of cre­ated in­tel­li­gences are ei­ther di­rectly or in­di­rectly en­gaged in ad­vanc­ing some phase of this pro­gres­sive per­fec­tion plan.

48:8.4In travers­ing the as­cend­ing scale of liv­ing ex­is­tence from mor­tal man to the De­ity em­brace, you ac­tu­ally live the very life of ev­ery pos­si­ble phase and stage of per­fected crea­ture ex­is­tence within the lim­its of the pres­ent uni­verse age. Such di­min­ish­ment of death con­tin­ues on and on, but I know of no sys­tem whose in­hab­ited worlds, even though long set­tled in life, are en­tirely free from nat­u­ral death as the tech­nique of es­cape from the bonds of flesh. And un­til such a high state of plan­e­tary evo­lu­tion is uni­formly at­tained, the mor­ontia-train­ing worlds of the lo­cal uni­verse must con­tinue in ser­vice as ed­u­ca­tional and cul­tural spheres for the evolv­ing mor­ontia pro­gres­sors. The elim­i­na­tion of death is the­o­ret­i­cally pos­si­ble, but it has not yet oc­curred ac­cord­ing to my ob­ser­va­tion. Per­haps such a sta­tus may be at­tained dur­ing the far­away stretches of the suc­ceed­ing epochs of the sev­enth stage of set­tled plan­e­tary life.

55:2.9The trans­lated souls of the flow­er­ing ages of the set­tled spheres do not pass through the man­sion worlds. Nei­ther do they so­journ, as stu­dents, on the mor­ontia worlds of the sys­tem or con­stel­la­tion. They do not pass through any of the ear­lier phases of mor­ontia life. They are the only as­cend­ing mor­tals who so nearly es­cape the mor­ontia tran­si­tion from ma­te­rial ex­is­tence to semispirit sta­tus. The ini­tial ex­pe­ri­ence of such Son-seized mor­tals in the as­cen­sion ca­reer is in the ser­vices of the pro­gres­sion worlds of the uni­verse head­quar­ters. True re­li­gion does not be­lit­tle man’s ef­forts to pro­gress dur­ing the mor­tal lease on life. Ev­ery mor­tal gain is a di­rect con­tri­bu­tion to the en­rich­ment of the first stages of the im­mor­tal sur­vival ex­pe­ri­ence.

112:6.1Just as a but­ter­fly emerges from the cater­pil­lar stage, so will the true per­son­al­i­ties of hu­man be­ings emerge on the man­sion worlds, for the first time re­vealed apart from their one­time en­shroud­ment in the ma­te­rial flesh. The mor­ontia ca­reer in the lo­cal uni­verse has to do with the con­tin­ued el­e­va­tion of the per­son­al­ity mech­a­nism from the be­gin­ning mor­ontia level of soul ex­is­tence up to the fi­nal mor­ontia level of pro­gres­sive spir­i­tu­al­ity.

112:6.2It is dif­fi­cult to in­struct you re­gard­ing your mor­ontia per­son­al­ity forms for the lo­cal uni­verse ca­reer. You will be en­dowed with mor­ontia pat­terns of per­son­al­ity man­i­festa­bil­ity, and these are in­vest­ments which, in the last anal­y­sis, are be­yond your com­pre­hen­sion. Such forms, while en­tirely real, are not en­ergy pat­terns of the ma­te­rial or­der which you now un­der­stand. They do, how­ever, serve the same pur­pose on the lo­cal uni­verse worlds as do your ma­te­rial bod­ies on the plan­ets of hu­man na­tiv­ity.

112:6.3To a cer­tain ex­tent, the ap­pear­ance of the ma­te­rial body-form is re­spon­sive to the char­ac­ter of the per­son­al­ity iden­tity; the phys­i­cal body does, to a lim­ited de­gree, re­flect some­thing of the in­her­ent na­ture of the per­son­al­ity. Still more so does the mor­ontia form. In the phys­i­cal life, mor­tals may be out­wardly beau­ti­ful though in­wardly unlovely; in the mor­ontia life, and in­creas­ingly on its higher lev­els, the per­son­al­ity form will vary di­rectly in ac­cor­dance with the na­ture of the in­ner per­son. On the spir­i­tual level, out­ward form and in­ner na­ture be­gin to ap­prox­i­mate com­plete iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, which grows more and more per­fect on higher and higher spirit lev­els.

112:6.4In the mor­ontia es­tate the as­cend­ing mor­tal is en­dowed with the Neb­a­don mod­i­fi­ca­tion of the cos­mic-mind en­dow­ment of the Mas­ter Spirit of Or­von­ton. The mor­tal in­tel­lect, as such, has per­ished, has ceased to ex­ist as a fo­cal­ized uni­verse en­tity apart from the un­dif­fer­en­ti­ated mind cir­cuits of the Cre­ative Spirit. But the mean­ings and val­ues of the mor­tal mind have not per­ished. Cer­tain phases of mind are con­tin­ued in the sur­viv­ing soul; cer­tain ex­pe­ri­en­tial val­ues of the for­mer hu­man mind are held by the Ad­juster; and there per­sist in the lo­cal uni­verse the rec­ords of the hu­man life as it was lived in the flesh, to­gether with cer­tain liv­ing reg­is­tra­tions in the nu­mer­ous be­ings who are con­cerned with the fi­nal eval­u­a­tion of the as­cend­ing mor­tal, be­ings ex­tend­ing in range from ser­a­phim to Uni­ver­sal Cen­sors and prob­a­bly on be­yond to the Su­preme.

112:6.5Crea­ture vo­li­tion can­not ex­ist with­out mind, but it does per­sist in spite of the loss of the ma­te­rial in­tel­lect. Dur­ing the times im­me­di­ately fol­low­ing sur­vival, the as­cend­ing per­son­al­ity is in great mea­sure guided by the char­ac­ter pat­terns in­her­ited from the hu­man life and by the newly ap­pear­ing ac­tion of mor­ontia mota. And these guides to man­so­nia con­duct func­tion ac­cept­ably in the early stages of the mor­ontia life and prior to the emer­gence of mor­ontia will as a full-fledged vo­li­tional ex­pres­sion of the as­cend­ing per­son­al­ity.

112:6.6There are no in­flu­ences in the lo­cal uni­verse ca­reer com­pa­ra­ble to the seven ad­ju­tant mind-spir­its of hu­man ex­is­tence. The mor­ontia mind must evolve by di­rect con­tact with cos­mic mind, as this cos­mic mind has been mod­i­fied and trans­lated by the cre­ative source of lo­cal uni­verse in­tel­lect—the Di­vine Min­is­ter.

112:6.7Mor­tal mind, prior to death, is self-con­sciously in­de­pen­dent of the Ad­juster pres­ence; ad­ju­tant mind needs only the as­so­ci­ated ma­te­rial-en­ergy pat­tern to en­able it to op­er­ate. But the mor­ontia soul, be­ing super­ad­ju­tant, does not re­tain self-con­scious­ness with­out the Ad­juster when de­prived of the ma­te­rial-mind mech­a­nism. This evolv­ing soul does, how­ever, pos­sess a con­tin­u­ing char­ac­ter de­rived from the de­ci­sions of its for­mer as­so­ci­ated ad­ju­tant mind, and this char­ac­ter be­comes ac­tive mem­ory when the pat­terns thereof are en­er­gized by the re­turn­ing Ad­juster.

112:6.8The per­sis­tence of mem­ory is proof of the re­ten­tion of the iden­tity of orig­i­nal self­hood; it is es­sen­tial to com­plete self-con­scious­ness of per­son­al­ity con­ti­nu­ity and ex­pan­sion. Those mor­tals who as­cend with­out Ad­justers are de­pen­dent on the in­struc­tion of se­raphic as­so­ciates for the re­con­struc­tion of hu­man mem­ory; oth­er­wise the mor­ontia souls of the Spirit-fused mor­tals are not lim­ited. The pat­tern of mem­ory per­sists in the soul, but this pat­tern re­quires the pres­ence of the for­mer Ad­juster to be­come im­me­di­ately self-re­al­iz­able as con­tin­u­ing mem­ory. With­out the Ad­juster, it re­quires con­sid­er­able time for the mor­tal sur­vivor to re-ex­plore and re­learn, to re­cap­ture, the mem­ory con­scious­ness of the mean­ings and val­ues of a for­mer ex­is­tence.

112:6.9The soul of sur­vival value faith­fully re­flects both the qual­i­ta­tive and the quan­ti­ta­tive ac­tions and mo­ti­va­tions of the ma­te­rial in­tel­lect, the for­mer seat of the iden­tity of self­hood. In the choos­ing of truth, beauty, and good­ness, the mor­tal mind en­ters upon its pre­moron­tia uni­verse ca­reer un­der the tute­lage of the seven ad­ju­tant mind-spir­its uni­fied un­der the di­rec­tion of the spirit of wis­dom. Sub­se­quently, upon the com­ple­tion of the seven cir­cles of pre­moron­tia at­tain­ment, the super­im­po­si­tion of the en­dow­ment of mor­ontia mind upon ad­ju­tant mind ini­ti­ates the prespir­i­tual or mor­ontia ca­reer of lo­cal uni­verse pro­gres­sion.

112:6.10When a crea­ture leaves his na­tive planet, he leaves the ad­ju­tant min­istry be­hind and be­comes solely de­pen­dent on mor­ontia in­tel­lect. When an as­cender leaves the lo­cal uni­verse, he has at­tained the spir­i­tual level of ex­is­tence, hav­ing passed be­yond the mor­ontia level. This newly ap­pear­ing spirit en­tity then be­comes at­tuned to the di­rect min­istry of the cos­mic mind of Or­von­ton.

119:6.1Now that all Sal­ving­ton was fa­mil­iar with the pre­lim­i­nar­ies of an im­pend­ing be­stowal, Mi­chael called the so­journ­ers on the head­quar­ters planet to­gether and, for the first time, un­folded the re­main­der of the in­car­na­tion plan, an­nounc­ing that he was soon to leave Sal­ving­ton for the pur­pose of as­sum­ing the ca­reer of a mor­ontia mor­tal at the courts of the Most High Fa­thers on the head­quar­ters planet of the fifth con­stel­la­tion. And then we heard for the first time the an­nounce­ment that his sev­enth and fi­nal be­stowal would be made on some evo­lu­tion­ary world in the like­ness of mor­tal flesh.

119:6.2Be­fore leav­ing Sal­ving­ton for the sixth be­stowal, Mi­chael ad­dressed the as­sem­bled in­hab­i­tants of the sphere and de­parted in full view of ev­ery­one, ac­com­pa­nied by a lone ser­a­phim and the Bright and Morn­ing Star of Neb­a­don. While the di­rec­tion of the uni­verse had again been in­trusted to Im­manuel, there was a wider dis­tri­bu­tion of ad­min­is­tra­tive re­spon­si­bil­i­ties.

119:6.3Mi­chael ap­peared on the head­quar­ters of con­stel­la­tion five as a full-fledged mor­ontia mor­tal of as­cend­ing sta­tus. I re­gret that I am for­bid­den to re­veal the de­tails of this un­num­bered mor­ontia mor­tal’s ca­reer, for it was one of the most ex­traor­di­nary and amaz­ing epochs in Mi­chael’s be­stowal ex­pe­ri­ence, not even ex­cept­ing his dra­matic and tragic so­journ on Uran­tia. But among the many re­stric­tions im­posed upon me in ac­cept­ing this com­mis­sion is one which for­bids my un­der­tak­ing to un­fold the de­tails of this won­der­ful ca­reer of Mi­chael as the mor­ontia mor­tal of En­dan­tum.

119:6.4When Mi­chael re­turned from this mor­ontia be­stowal, it was ap­par­ent to all of us that our Cre­ator had be­come a fel­low crea­ture, that the Uni­verse Sov­er­eign was also the friend and sym­pa­thetic helper of even the low­est form of cre­ated in­tel­li­gence in his realms. We had noted this pro­gres­sive ac­quire­ment of the crea­ture’s view­point in uni­verse ad­min­is­tra­tion be­fore this, for it had been grad­u­ally ap­pear­ing, but it be­came more ap­par­ent af­ter the com­ple­tion of the mor­ontia mor­tal be­stowal, even still more so af­ter his re­turn from the ca­reer of the car­pen­ter’s son on Uran­tia.

119:6.5We were in­formed in ad­vance by Ga­briel of the time of Mi­chael’s re­lease from the mor­ontia be­stowal, and ac­cord­ingly we ar­ranged a suit­able re­cep­tion on Sal­ving­ton. Mil­lions upon mil­lions of be­ings were as­sem­bled from the con­stel­la­tion head­quar­ters worlds of Neb­a­don, and a ma­jor­ity of the so­journ­ers on the worlds ad­ja­cent to Sal­ving­ton were gath­ered to­gether to wel­come him back to the ruler­ship of his uni­verse. In re­sponse to our many ad­dresses of wel­come and ex­pres­sions of ap­pre­ci­a­tion of a Sov­er­eign so vi­tally in­ter­ested in his crea­tures, he only replied: “I have sim­ply been about my Fa­ther’s busi­ness. I am only do­ing the plea­sure of the Par­a­dise Sons who love and crave to un­der­stand their crea­tures.”

119:6.6But from that day down to the hour when Mi­chael em­barked upon his Uran­tia ad­ven­ture as the Son of Man, all Neb­a­don con­tin­ued to dis­cuss the many ex­ploits of their Sov­er­eign Ruler as he func­tioned on En­dan­tum as the be­stowal in­car­na­tion of a mor­ontia mor­tal of evo­lu­tion­ary as­cen­sion, be­ing in all points tested like his fel­lows as­sem­bled from the ma­te­rial worlds of the en­tire con­stel­la­tion of his so­journ.

174:3.2Je­sus knew, and so did the peo­ple, that these Sad­ducees were not sin­cere in ask­ing this ques­tion be­cause it was not likely that such a case would re­ally oc­cur; and be­sides, this prac­tice of the broth­ers of a dead man seek­ing to beget chil­dren for him was prac­ti­cally a dead let­ter at this time among the Jews. Nev­er­the­less, Je­sus con­de­scended to re­ply to their mis­chievous ques­tion. He said: “You all do err in ask­ing such ques­tions be­cause you know nei­ther the Scrip­tures nor the liv­ing power of God. You know that the sons of this world can marry and are given in mar­riage, but you do not seem to un­der­stand that they who are ac­counted wor­thy to at­tain the worlds to come, through the res­ur­rec­tion of the righ­teous, nei­ther marry nor are given in mar­riage. Those who ex­pe­ri­ence the res­ur­rec­tion from the dead are more like the an­gels of heaven, and they never die. These res­ur­rected ones are eter­nally the sons of God; they are the chil­dren of light res­ur­rected into the prog­ress of eter­nal life. And even your Fa­ther Moses un­der­stood this, for, in con­nec­tion with his ex­pe­ri­ences at the burn­ing bush, he heard the Fa­ther say, ‘I am the God of Abra­ham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Ja­cob.’ And so, along with Moses, do I de­clare that my Fa­ther is not the God of the dead but of the liv­ing. In him you all do live, re­pro­duce, and pos­sess your mor­tal ex­is­tence.”

190:0.3The mor­tals of the realms will arise in the morn­ing of the res­ur­rec­tion with the same type of tran­si­tion or mor­ontia body that Je­sus had when he arose from the tomb on this Sun­day morn­ing. These bod­ies do not have cir­cu­lat­ing blood, and such be­ings do not par­take of or­di­nary ma­te­rial food; nev­er­the­less, these mor­ontia forms are real. When the var­i­ous be­liev­ers saw Je­sus af­ter his res­ur­rec­tion, they re­ally saw him; they were not the self-de­ceived vic­tims of vi­sions or hal­lu­ci­na­tions.
